Krista Lemon - Head Coach
Vice President, Amore Soccer Board of Directors | USSF Licensed Coach
Bringing a lifetime of soccer experience and a passion for athlete development, Coach Krista enters her fifth year with Amore Soccer. In addition to her work on the pitch, she serves on the club’s leadership team as Vice President of the Board of Directors.
Krista’s competitive background includes four years as a high school varsity starter followed by two years at the collegiate level. Her playing career deeply informs her "player-centered" coaching philosophy, which prioritizes the individual growth of each athlete. Through targeted technical and tactical development, Coach Krista is dedicated to guiding players through every stage of their athletic journey while fostering a lifelong love for the game.
Dr. Brittany Elliott - Coach/Goalkeeper Lead
Goalkeeper Director & Academy Coach | PhD in Sports Psychology
Coach Brittany leads goalkeeper training and coaches with our Academy Teams, bringing a rare combination of top-tier playing experience, coaching success, and expertise in mental performance. Holding a PhD in Sports Psychology alongside her USSF license, she is uniquely equipped to train athletes in both physical execution and mental toughness.
An Arizona native, Brittany competed at the highest levels of youth soccer with Sereno Soccer, capturing State and Regional titles and finishing as a National Runner-Up at the Nike Premier (now ECNL) level. Her rare versatility as both a elite goalkeeper and a field player carried into her collegiate career at the NCAA Division II level.
Transitioning into coaching, Brittany helped guide Paradise Valley Community College to regional prominence and led Cactus High School to multiple tournament championships and back-to-back playoff appearances. Her background across all areas of the pitch, coupled with her psychological expertise, makes her an invaluable asset for players striving for elite competitive development.
Howard Henderson - Coach
Coach Howard joins Amore Soccer for the 2026/27 season, bringing a strong competitive background and valuable regional experience from his work with East Valley NSFC and Chaparral High School’s JV program.
A seasoned athlete, Howard developed his game at Minnesota’s highest youth levels with Minneapolis United SC and prepped at The Blake School before advancing to play NCAA Division III soccer at Macalester College. Leveraging his experience as a high-level collegiate player, Coach Howard is dedicated to helping young athletes build sharp technical fundamentals, tactical awareness, and a strong competitive drive.
Bri Terry - PreAacdemy/Mini Ballers Coach
A homegrown Phoenix soccer talent, Coach Bri developed her game through the elite youth ranks at SC del Sol before advancing to play NCAA Division II soccer at the University of Mary. During her collegiate career, she discovered her passion for player development by helping run youth soccer camps, mentoring young athletes on and off the pitch.
After completing her college education, Bri returned to her roots in Phoenix to build her coaching career. She has served as a coach at a local indoor facility and at Pinnacle High School, giving her a broad range of experience across competitive high school programs, technical indoor training, and youth grassroots camps.
Ryan Beasley
Director of Coaching | USSF C Licensed Coach
Originally from England, Director of Coaching Ryan Beasley came to the United States in 2010 on an athletic scholarship to play NAIA soccer at Bellevue University. While completing his collegiate career, Ryan began building his coaching background with the Nebraska Olympic Development Program (ODP). Following graduation, he advanced to the semi-professional ranks with the St. Louis Lions (PDL).
Ryan moved to Arizona in 2016 to coach at SC del Sol before returning to England to play two seasons of semi-professional soccer with Lincoln United in the Northern Premier League (Evo-Stik Premier). Back in the U.S., Ryan currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Scottsdale Community College (SCC) Women’s Soccer team and previously helped guide Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) Women’s Soccer to the 2018 NJCAA National Championship tournament.
Gene Love - Alumni Head Coach
Coach Gene Love was a co-founder of Amore Soccer with Coach Ryan Beasley. Upon the conclusion of the 24/25 season, he has decided to retire from coaching to focus on other aspects of his life.
